ALL COACHES:

Our priority as coaches is to help young players reach their maximum potential as people through a commitment to excellence in tennis. All players are treated equally and with respect for their inherent individual worth. The long-term welfare and happiness of players are valued more than the results or rewards of the moment.

Head Coach Responsibilities – to oversee, manage, plan and implement activities for the program and support/assist team coaches, parents/players as needed; to foster a healthy coach-player-parent relationship, creating an environment where positive growth, learning and development are possible.

Leadership Coaching Staff Responsibilities – to provide opportunities for player growth in the areas of physical, mental and social skills preparing them to perform on match day; includes conditioning, footwork, stroke production, game strategy and sportsmanship.

Parent/Coach Responsibilities – to manage and coach their respective teams, promoting the program’s philosophy as outlined; to coordinate support from parents and help to disseminate information.
